Detroit native and jewelry designer, Tiff Massey, leads a life of stunning creativity. Her bold designs demand your attention. Strength that pours out of her work. It’s thought provoking and purposeful.

Tiff was recently awarded the 2015 Kresge Visual Arts Fellowship. She’ll also be traveling to Paris to install new work for the Lille 3000 Triennial “Renaissance” exhibition that opens September 26th, and runs through January. In the midst of all that, Tiff’s working on opening her studio to house residency workshops specific to jewelers.

A word of advice from this master maker:
“Never take no for an answer. Believe in yourself. It takes hard work to make a dream work and often blood, sweat, and tears. There are no guarantees in a creative lifestyle. You win some you lose some. You have to create as if no one is looking. Stay true to you, yet remain humble.”

I love Tiff’s work and I’m always in awe when I see something new she’s created. Her pieces range from small and intricate to so large they command a room. Take a closer look inside Tiff’s studio here.
